This one has a lot of really good information if you are rusty on basic math principles that are on the test. It has an overwhelming amount of information on the aviation section. It does a really good job of breaking down the test subjects but is borderline overwhelming. The general science section is mainly useless as the AFOQT has swapped out general science in favor of physical science. Overall, a good study guide but I would definitely recommend using MULTIPLE study guides. The structure of this one is section information, practice questions, answer key. In terms of actual test taking, this booklet may contain enough questions for a full practice test, but it isn't the best out there for using to replicate exam day conditions.

I am honestly disappointed in the material this book presents. Almost all the information in this text can be googled. Examples and elaborations can also be better found online. It is quite basic here. There are also no full-length practice tests in the text, which I felt was false advertisement of the book itself. Additionally, there are many typos. For example, on page 46 for Mathematical Knowledge, an example is shown for integers. The text states -5 + 4 = 1... I will most likely return this soon.

For those who want to be an officer in the Air Force, you have to take the AFOQT. For me, I find that it helps me prepare for major tests like this to read, examine, use, and study as many aids and tools as possible. A review book like the AFOQT STUDY GUIDE 2019 is a tool that can be somewhat useful in preparing for the AFOQT. The book is pretty short (162 pages), but it has a ton of information. It is divided into nine major sections: verbal analogies, arithmetic reasoning, word knowledge, mathematics knowledge, instrument comprehension, block counting, table reading, aviation information, and general science.Unfortunately, there are two major drawbacks to the AFOQT STUDY GUIDE 2019. First, the book has several misspellings and grammatical errors. There’s not as many of those in this book as there are in previous editions of this book (kudos on the publisher for trying to correct those). However, they are there. However, it’s the second drawback that makes me hesitant to fully endorse the book. That drawback is that there is some inaccurate and factually incorrect information. While a person can get some value in using the AFOQT STUDY GUIDE 2019, the inaccuracies in some of the information make it not very useful. Personally, this edition of the book is only slightly better than the previous edition (AFOQT STUDY GUIDE 2018-2019). There aren’t as many misspellings and such, but there’s still some faulty information. The book can help when preparing for the AFOQT, but there are other study guides on the market that are better.

This study guide has everything that you need to pass the AFOQT exam. Explanations are brief, but concise, and the questions are very well explained. I recommend it.
